December 20th, 2006

Now linking to stuff that leads to material that infringes copyright regulation can put you behind bars and can get you convicted. Sydney Morning Herald has more news on it.

Using PDA or Smartphone as a handy webcam

December 19th, 2006

Over thought of using your PDA or Smartphone camera as a webcam? You can do this now. On the Software Blog I just read that using Ateksoft WebcameraPlus we can make our PDA webcamera. Cool addition, I must give this software a try.

Disabling Trackbacks on the blogs here

July 11th, 2006

I have been getting around 1000-1200 trackback SPAM on a daily basis lately. I try to delete what I can, but for now I am tired. So I am going to disable trackbacks on this blog till I figure out a decent way to get them to work without all the extra SPAM with it.

Sync. your Google Calendar with your desktop and mobiles

May 30th, 2006

Finally I hear of a product that can sync. Google Calendar with Outlook and other mobile devices and vice versa. The product is from CompanionLink. Looks like a nice tool with the initial needed features. You can make changes to your Google Calendar or on the calendar on mobile or desktop system and that will get synchronised with each other. It can synchronize Google Calendar with all the latest Pocket PC, Windows Mobile, Palm, and BlackBerry devices in addition to Outlook, Lotus Notes, Palm Desktop, and Groupwise applications.

The only bad thing and very much important is it did not work on my desktop at all. The application kept on crashing on me numerous times before I uninstalled it. So will have to wait for better version of this application or just an application from some different developer.
